Vellum was founded in 2007 by Jim Winn and Nathan Weber. Both bring substantial experience in journalism, retaining clients like The New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune and The Rocky Mountain News. Winn is based out of Seattle, Weber lives in Chicago and Vellum has strategic partners located in Tennessee, New York City and Kentucky.
