Artek Lofts

I (Jim) had the opportunity to shoot at the newly developed Artek Lofts in Lexington yesterday while assisting my wife Carla who is a freelance photographer based out of the Lexington area.
The idea for the Artek Lofts grew from a collaboration of neighborhood visionaries, who contacted AU Associates President Holly Wiedemann to translate their nascent ideas into reality. The extraordinary result is ARTEK, developed by AU Associates and brought to life under the capable design expertise of K. Norman Berry Architects. With the goal of urban revitalization in Lexington’s historic downtown district Artek will be instrumental in the rejuvenation of the downtown community and by association, the art community in the area. Artek’s commitment to artistic and creative enrichment for the greater community will prove to be the cornerstone in the renaissance of urban renewal in Lexington.
