The faculty of pre-university training of the Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics offers a wide range of long-term and short-term programs to improve the level of knowledge before the Unified State Exam, and university teachers teach.
general characteristics
The Faculty of Pre-University Training is a structural subdivision of the Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics, which is engaged in advanced training for school leaders and teachers, organizing Olympiads for schoolchildren and teachers, and interacting with general educational institutions. For high school students, the most comfortable environment has been created here, which allows them to qualitatively prepare for the exam.
For potential students and their parents, the faculty holds open days, including online in the form of a webinar. This makes it possible to get more information about the offered courses and short-term programs, training features, teachers. During such events, master classes are organized for schoolchildren and parents, in particular, on the choice of a future profession and preparation for the Unified State Exam. Much attention is paid to interaction with parents, since such cooperation helps to keep the high school student’s motivation at a high level.
Forms of classes
Preparation for the exam is carried out in full-time format in the classrooms of the faculty. Lessons are on weekdays from 17.00 to 19.50. Within the framework of group training, teachers provide an individual approach to each student.
The USE courses are held in several formats:
eight-month preparatory courses (120 academic hours of study);four-month express courses (60 hours);preparation for the final essay (24 hours);”University Classes” are 88 hours of class during school holidays (fall, winter and spring). The listener can choose one of three options for himself:mathematics / history / Russian;mathematics / social studies / Russian;history essay of my teacher my hero / social studies / Russian language);master class on writing the final essay (6 hours on Saturday);two-day vacation schools in Russian language and mathematics (12 hours).
In addition, a high school student can take three-hour trainings at the FDP on complex topics of the school curriculum, which are held on Saturdays. During the academic year, university professors, examiners of the Unified State Exam, free of charge, answer the students’ questions asked online.
Shortly before the examination campaign, high school students can pass the rehearsal exam in conditions close to the format of a real test. “Probe” lasts 8 hours and includes the subsequent analysis of tasks with a teacher.
For college graduates, the Perm campus of the Higher School of Economics prepares for entrance examinations in five subjects: Russian, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and social science.
Timing
The eight-month program begins in October and ends in May, the four-month course starts in February. The preparation time for the final essay is October-November. Thematic trainings are organized in February-April.
Teachers
Classes at the faculty are taught by experienced teachers of the Perm branch of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, including the Deputy Dean and heads of departments, many of whom have Ph.D. degrees. All teachers have the status of acting USE experts in their disciplines.

The faculty prepares for the Unified State Exam in the following subjects:
maths;Informatics;Russian language;Social Studies;history;English language.
A senior student chooses the number of disciplines studied at his will. In addition, you can prepare for the final essay.
The cost
Prices depend on the chosen training format and the number of disciplines studied:
eight-month training programs for the exam – 30,000 rubles per subject;four-month express courses – 15,000 rubles for one discipline;preparation course for the final essay – 7,200 rubles;master class on the final essay – 1,500 rubles;project “University classes” – 13,100 rubles;vacation schools – 3,500 rubles;trainings on complex topics – 800 rubles;rehearsal exam – 1,800 rubles per subject.
A 10% discount is provided when registering for the second and subsequent items. The cost is reduced by 5% when the contract is drawn up on the open day, when attending HSE faculty courses in previous years, as well as with the simultaneous education of close relatives.
You can pay for tuition in installments, depositing 30% of the amount in October, 40% in December and 30% in February. A listener who signed up for three subjects will receive a master class in preparation for the final essay as a gift. If the client, for some reason, decides to interrupt the training, then the rest of the money will be returned to him upon application to the bank card within a month.
